Alera is a very dairy doe.  She has a lot of style and general appearance.  Her body is long and level with a smooth front end and excellent feet and legs.  She has an awesome side profile and is quite correct throughout.  Her mammary system is beautiful, being high and wide in the rear and smoothly blended in the fore.  Alera's teat placement sits toward the outside of the udder, but is not too far off.  She is one of the animals closest to the total package in our herd and we are extremely proud of her.

Lumina is a large framed doe with a long, level topline.  She has excellent feet and legs, being especially strong on her pasterns.  Her mammary system is exceptional, having a very smooth, well-extended foreudder and a high, wide rear udder with teats of proper size, shape and placement.  Lumina finished her championship in 2003, so was only shown a few times in 2004.  Even with her limited showing, this was her best season yet with two Best in Show wins and several Grands and Reserves.  Lumina had been retired from the show ring since 2004, until this summer when we brought her to our State Fair.  The judge commented  that her feet and legs are excellent for a 9 yr. old.  along with being a high producing, showy doe, Lumina is an excellent brood doe.  She has two permanent champion daughters in the herd and two working their way to that status.

Lydia is a powerful doe with lots of width from her chest to her hocks.  She is level over the topline and has a wide, flat rump.  Her mammary system is high and wide in the rear with an outstanding foreudder.  Lydia could use some smoothing out in the shoulder area, but is very strong in the other aspects of the score card.  All this and she milks well too!
