Solaris is another one of our beautiful Cycas daughters, with a 'rags to riches' story.  She was sold as a kid, bought back as a dry yearling, sent to a neighbor's dairy at 1 1/2, and brought back home at 2 1/2 to start her show career - and she did it with a bang!  She is the type of doe we are striving for, being large with a long, correct frame and an exceptional mammary system - and lots of milk!

Tory is a carbon copy of her dam, Thyme.  She is a tall, dairy doe with a long, smoothly blended body and excellent general appearance.  Her mammary system is well attached both fore and rear and she stands on strong feet and legs.  Tory has so many strong points that she is the type of doe you just can't help but notice.  Along with a good show career, Tory has produced two permanent champion daughters with the same high standards.  We can't wait to see what her next daughters do!  Tory is now retired from the show ring.

Madison is a real pretty doe.  She is a deep-bodied doe that is smoothly blended and has a level topline with a wide, flat rump.  Her mammary system has an exceptionally wide rear udder, a smooth, long foreudder, and teats with proper shape, size and placement.  Madison is a herd favorite, being very easy going, an excellent milker, and a joy to work with.  She's had an excellent show record, but has been retired from showing for the last few years to stay home and provude us with beautiful daughters! (Look for them in our sales list)  You will like what you see!

Trista lives up to the rest of her maternal siblings.  She was simply outstanding as a yearling and has continued on as a strong contender.  Her mammary system is near ideal being superbly attached with near perfect teat placement. Trista has good depth of body and is smoothly blended.  She has better rear leg angulation than her sisters and has a wide, level rump.  If there was something I would change about her, I would give her a little more length.  We feel that this doe and her maternal siblings are the backbone of our herd and share in some of the success we've had.

Tressa is our last precious daughter of our Thyme.  She has lots of general appearance, and is built very solidly.  Her chest floor is very wide and it is carried back through to her hocks.  She has a high, wide rear udder and a smooth, well extended foreudder.  Her teats are of nice size and shape and are correctly placed.  We feel Tressa and her sister, Trista, have the best mammary systems that we have ever produced.  Tressa seemed to be a show stopper from the moment she was born.  At the 2004 National Show in Harrisburg, she was Reserve National Champion Recorded Grade Jr. Doe and went on to freshen the next spring with the type of udder that you can only hope for.  She has continued on with her show success and has produced two lovely daughters in our herd that we can't wait to see fresh!

Vizzion was a new addition to Tyler's Recorded Grade herd last year.  She is a smooth-bodied doe that has a beautiful udder.  She possesses some of the qualities we would like to entwine in our herd.  Vizzion was 2nd place in the Yearling Milker class as last year's Nationals, and her dam, Sizzle, was the 2006 Reserve Grand Champion to our doe, Solaris.  Together, Vizzion and Sizzle won the Dam and Daughter class.  We are very excited about Vizzion and thank Cindy for allowing us to purchase such a fine doe.

Lucy is a tall, powerful, large framed doe that stands on an exceptional set of feet and legs.  She has a level topline and a wide, flat rump.  Her mammary system is well attached with the longest foreudder in the herd.  She is very mature for a yearling, and most of the judges commented about her impressive size.  We feel she is true to her maternal side with all her size and strength of feet and legs.  The only thing we would change is to smooth her out a little in the shoulders and crops.  Watch for Lucy in 2008; we're hoping Louisville is in her travel plans!

Solitaire is a flashy, tall, long bodied, dairy doe.  She has a high, wide rear udder and a fore that is smoothly blended.  Her long dairy neck blends into sharp withers and a level topline.  Solitaire is so dairy and milks so well that our biggest challenge this spring was to get her in show shape for the summer season.  Solitaire came out strong and was competitive with her herdmate, Lucy, even placing over her on one occasion.  We feel she will mature into quite a stunning 2 yr. old!

Sonoma is the largest doe of our kid crop.  She is very correct and shows tremendous width from her chest to her hocks.  Sonoma has a highly arched escutcheon, and has perfect teat placement.  We look for her to have a beautiful udder like her dam, Solaris, and hope she follows in her very successful footsteps.

Sedona is a little more dairy than her sister, Sonoma, but very similar in size and stature.  She could use a little more length of rump, but is level over the topline and has the same highly arched escutcheon.  We are so excited about these sisters and can't wait to have them fresh.
